2007 - Riding one of Jag’s fillies in the Sawtooth Wilderness area. {This Cougar Slams - sold} Her new owner wrote, “Candy is doing great. She is calm & submissive to both of the geldings & gets along with the yearling filly as well. I am really enjoying her & she seems to enjoy my company also! So far we have trailered to the arena about three times & also to two different friend's houses for some fun rides! At my friend Jennifer's house on Easter weekend, we actually had a little version of an Extreme Cowboy Race (obstacle course)! Candy did really well & we had alot of fun.”
   Next month Sheryl wrote, “We have been enjoying quite a few rides at the arena, working on slow lope & even barrels! Trying to ride at least twice a week, even with the weather being so strange here lately. In May, we really enjoyed the Sheriff's Posse Poker ride & camping trip with just Roy & I & the two horses! The horses did great & I placed second (high score)! Then the following weekend we took Candy & Rosco (AKA "Counterfeit") to the beach (Pacific Ocean) on Memorial weekend!! I will attach a few photos for you. She is doing really well & is happy with her herd! She has adopted the yearling paint filly as her own! Also, we seem to have a great understanding of one another. I am so glad she has such a calm nature & her beautiful looks are just icing on the cake! Thank you for doing such an awesome job raising her. I am really looking forward to continuing to learn & experience new things together. She is such a nice horse, I really want to do great things with her in the future (and show her off a little if I am to be totally honest!). Thanks again for everything.

  “Hi! Just wanted to check in with you and let you know that CC is doing GREAT! Kim Shippard, the owner and trainer at Alamar, thinks CC is a great horse and that she is one of those ‘hard to find’ horses! Kim is training CC and my 13 year old is planning to use her in 4-H as a novice in walk/trot. Kim is a real honest horse person and has trained a lot of horses. When I first got CC she told me that she would evaluate her and see where we needed to start with training. She also said that if CC wasn't going to be a good fit for us that I could always sell her. Well, after working with CC and getting to know her, Kim really likes her! Yesterday I told Kim that I thought CC was coming along great and asked what she thought of CC. Her response said it all..."She is a really good horse. You don't find horses like this very often. It's hard to find a horse like this!" I just wanted to pass this on to you! I have been meaning to send you some photos of her and will try to remember. Take Care!” Jennifer
